The founder story<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It started with family.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before TrustonTap was a business, it was a family search for the right kind of care at home. What the Cottons couldn’t find for Antonia’s mother became the company they set out to build for other families like theirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy mother had Parkinson’s. Finding her the right care at home was one of the hardest things our family has ever done. The agencies we tried were expensive, inflexible and impersonal. Carers came and went, barely staying long enough to learn her name. We were left wanting \u2014 and we knew we weren’t alone\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was frustrated by the hurdles placed in front of people simply wanting good care for someone they loved. Costs were high, choice was poor, and the carers themselves \u2014 the people doing the work \u2014 were underpaid, undervalued and leaving the sector.
