Finding great care in Watlington can be difficult.
We can find the right person for you.

TOT Qualified

Experienced quality carers.

We believe that experience and personality are just as important as the correct qualifications. We work with less than 5% of carers that apply, focusing on specialist, hands-on experience that enables our carers to provide the best possible quality of care.

choice of care

Choice and transparency.

Unlike traditional care agencies, we don't simply send a carer out. We always take the extra time to really understand your situation and will never send someone who you can’t speak to first. You can be reassured that your carer will know your needs properly before they arrive.

TOT Empathy

Flexible care for the short or long term.

When first looking for care, you may be unsure quite how much care you will need. At TrustonTap, our carers can support you or your loved one at home from just one hour. So you can start with a little bit of support, and increase or decrease as you need.

"Tanya has been looking after my parents- cooking, cleaning, chatting and anything else that needs attention. Tanya is a very kind, dependable carer for whom nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend her!"

Watlington is a small market town in Oxfordshire, less than two miles away from the county’s border with Buckinghamshire, located seven miles away from Thame and just eleven kilometres from its eastern edge. Among the hamlets in the parish are Christmas Common, Greenfield, and Howe Hill, all of which are located in the Chiltern Hills. According to the 2011 Census, the parish’s population was 2,727.
With the Icknield Way nearby, the Watlington area is likely to have been settled very early. The toponym means “settlement of Waecel’s people” and indicates occupation started around the 6th century. Thelred of Mercia’s 9th-century charter lists eight manses or major dwellings in Watlington. According to the Domesday Book of 1086, Watelintone or Watelintune was an agricultural community worth £610. Medieval records indicate that the modern street plan existed in the 14th century as Cochynes-lane (Couching Street) and Brook Street are recorded.
Watlington is about 2.5 miles (4 km) from the M40 motorway, accessible at junctions 5 and 6.
Oxford and London, and London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports, are easily accessible by coach from Junction 6 of the M40 at Lewknor.
