There is a common misconception that working in care always requires appropriate qualifications. If you have certificates that’s great, but the key is experience. We recognise if you have been working looking after a family member, then we see that as very relevant and important. We will also support you to keep your professional development up to date.

Developing that relationship and really understanding your customer are key to having a rewarding role. We know there are times the role can be challenging, as it can be physically and emotionally demanding, but we are there to help and support you when you need it.
