Our carers
A carer will provide consistent care at home to an individual for varying lengths of time, helping out with daily housekeeping tasks and personal support to assist with independent living, meal preparation and running errands.
Home carer’s duties often include:
- Personal care
- Mobility support
- General companionship
- Completing household duties
- Collecting shopping and preparing meals
Our carers want to help people stay independent and assist with their day-to-day living rather than take over. We will work with you to find out just what support your loved one needs.

A carer may be visiting daily to help with personal care and food preparation or maybe there to provide valuable companionship. Care can be provided by the hour just a few times a week right up to 24/7 live-in care or overnight care as conditions change. Their role is to provide practical and emotional support helping your loved one stay at home while managing any health conditions.
Most of our customers will need help with some level of personal care. That might be assisting them to get washed and dressed every morning and providing continence care. Or it may be helping them have a shower twice a week.
For some people, it’s just the additional support they need throughout the week and having that friendly face to brighten their day.
