Once we know your needs, we will approach our local Borehamwood carers, who usually respond within 24-48 hours.
As soon as we know their availability we will send you their profiles. It’s then up to you to decide which carer you like and we can book that carer straightaway.
We recognise that it is helpful to meet a carer in advance of agreeing to an engagement. Where this cannot be easily arranged in person, we encourage you to arrange a video call (e.g. via Skype) with your recommended carer.
Prices range from £17 – £25/hour depending on your care needs and carer experience.
We will send you a selection of profiles for carers in the Borehamwood area, and you choose your carer dependent on your specific requirements.
We will ensure that you have the same carer each time, we will not send you different carers without contacting you first. This is usually only due to sickness or leave.
We carefully screen and interview all our trusted carers via a multi-stage recruitment process to ensure that all our carers are competent, compassionate, kind, honest and reliable.
Everyone is fully-vetted and DBS background checked.
Plus, we obtain two references on all carers that we take on, to ensure the good character of the people who will be supporting you.
We also conduct thorough individual interviews.
Over the last 3 years, we have taken on less than 5% of carers that have applied to us.
We only list those individuals who we would be happy to recommend to our own relatives.

Continue readingBorehamwood is a town in southern Hertfordshire, England, about 12 miles (19 km) from Charing Cross. Borehamwood has 31,074 residents and is part of the London commuter belt. It is known for its film and television studios as Elstree Studios. Due to the presence of production studios, the town became known as one of the main films, and later television centres in the UK. As a result of the Second World War, the town’s population greatly increased. As a result, large areas of council housing were built for displaced Londoners, many of which are now privately owned. Since the town has fast train connections to central London, it has become a predominantly residential area. Admiralty began constructing highly secret high-performance electronic digital computers in Borehamwood in 1946, initially for real-time gunnery control, and later for surface-to-air guided weapons and missiles, and for GCHQ’s cryptography and code-breaking computers. Over the last five years, Borehamwood has seen hundreds of new homes built. The construction of two more developments is underway, and more are expected. Additionally, there are many retail shops, hotels, restaurants, offices, and light industries in the town. The Elstree Studios hotels serve mostly tourists, TV show viewers, and London visitors that are attracted by the nearby location and the considerably lower hotel rates. Elstree & Borehamwood railway station is located on the west side of Borehamwood (TfL Zone 6) and is served by trains operated by Govia Thameslink Railway on the Thameslink route. Bus number 107 runs through the town from New Barnet to Edgware and back, while bus number 292 runs into northwest London for London Sovereign for London buses. There is a bus service run by Uno (bus company) that stops in Borehamwood between Hatfield and Stanmore, and one that goes to Watford. The company provides bus services to other parts of Hertfordshire. About 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the town is the M25 motorway, which crosses the A1 to the east.We provide consistent home care, home help, and companionship carers across Borehamwood from £17/hour.
