What is Hourly care?

What is Hourly Care and who is it suitable for?

Hourly care can help those who need extra support with day-to-day tasks so they can remain independent in their own home. From help getting up in the mornings, to taking medication, our highly-trained carers can help with a variety of daily tasks.

Hourly care is ideal for those who could benefit from some one-on-one time with a carer, but don’t require a live-in carer.

It may be that your loved one needs some companionship during the day to get them out and about, or someone to just be there. We can help provide support or post-operative care for as long as you need, with the flexibility to suit your requirements.

You can arrange hourly or visiting care as little or often as you need. Whether it be several short 1-hour visits, a few hours, or even help overnight. Our local carers are very experienced and trustworthy, and we don’t require uniform which often makes them feel more like a friend. We can work with you and your family to provide the very best standard of care.

WHY TRUSTONTAP?

We understand Hourly Care

We know that things can change after a fall or return from a hospital stay and you may need more support on a regular basis.

We understand that each person’s care needs may be different and we can help provide the right care depending on individual circumstances.

From a short daily visit to a dedicated carer visiting several times a day, hourly care is a good care option for many people.

GETTING STARTED

How to get started with Hourly Care

It can often be difficult to acknowledge that it’s time to ask for help or support. We all don’t like change especially if it is in our own home. Whether it is someone just to ‘drop in’ and keep you company or help you with personal care or a specific task a regular visit from an experienced friendly carer could really improve your loved one’s quality of life.

Give us a call

Our friendly team are here to help and understand your care needs. The initial call needn’t feel daunting, we know this can be a big step, but we are here to help with any question you may have about care. There really is no need to commit to anything, often simply understanding what options are out there is all you may want to start with.

Meet your carer

We will arrange for you to meet with the carer(s) we’ve matched you with, to ensure the match is right for you. We can then help you make a booking at a time that works best for both the carer and you or your family.
